What is West Coast Swing?

West Coast Swing (WCS) is a contemporary swing dance that owes its popularity to the music that it’s danced to – Top 40s, Hip Hop, Pop, R&B, Lyrical, Blues, Dubstep, etc. Often referred to as a “living dance”, it constantly evolves with contemporary music and allows unprecedented freedom of expression and play. This smooth, stretchy partner dance form originated in the USA and is now widely popular around the world.
